Virginia Pediatric Group requires payment at the time of service. We accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. Patients with standard co-pay are encouraged to make their payments at the time of check-in. Other insurance, private pay, or third party liability accounts are payable at the time of service.

Balances After Insurance
Patient statements are sent out on the 1st of every month. Payment in full is expected within 30 days. If payment arrangements are necessary, please contact our business office. Delinquent accounts left unpaid with no payment arrangements are turned to a collection service after 90 days. Many insurance companies will try to decrease their reimbursement by changing procedure codes or by not paying for multiple procedures. If the Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company unreasonably alters our billing codes or services, we will rely upon you for complete payment. We will assist you in appealing to your insurance company.
Appointment Cancellation and No-Show
No shows and cancellations will be charged $50.00 for each appointment slot.
Well child check-up visits must be canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time to avoid the $50.00 cancellation fee.
Sick visits must be canceled within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time to avoid the $50.00 cancellation fee.
