Shannon Eickhoff, PA-C, is a dedicated physician assistant on the team at Virginia Pediatric Group. She provides compassionate care to children throughout Herndon and Aldie, Virginia. 

Shannon was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a biology major and chemistry minor. In 2000, she completed her physician assistant degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. 

Prior to joining Virginia Pediatric Group in 2004, Shannon worked in an outpatient pediatric practice for four years in a medically underserved area of Washington, D.C. While she enjoys all ages in pediatrics as each group has its unique set of rewards and challenges, Shannon particularly enjoys the adolescent years. She feels it is a pleasure to watch the children she has tended to blossom into young adults. 

When she is not hauling her tweens around to their activities, Shannon enjoys music, traveling, and visiting the local Virginia wine country. Her favorite job is being a mother to two wonderful children and wife to a loving husband.
